THE FLOWERS

Based in SINGAPORE, Miss Petal & Bloom specialises in whimsical floral decor and accessories featuring handmade crepe paper flowers.

Each petal is cut, sculpted and glued individually by hand. I use premium Italian crepe paper that allows the blooms to hold their shape and colours for a long time.

These lasting blooms could be wonderful embellishments for your special event, a thoughtful gift for a loved one, or even unique adornments for your own home.

MP&B is happy to customise our floral products for you, just drop me an email at misspetalandbloom@gmail.com

THE FLORIST

Hi! I'm Eileen and I started crafting crepe paper flowers in 2015.
I'm a big Jane Austen fan, my favourite colour is pink, I enjoy daydreaming, and I can't go without having at least one cup of coffee a day. :)

My journey to paper floristry is a funny and unexpected one - I graduated from UC Berkeley with a double major in Psychology and Art History, came back home to work in a museum, then realised that my fingers were constantly itching to create... and that perhaps a crafting career was the way to go! I left my job in November 2015, dived into Miss Petal & Bloom full-time, and haven't looked back since.

It hasn't been an easy journey, but to me, making something beautiful and long-lasting with my own hands is just a wonderful feeling! I'm so happy that I get to play a part in weddings, anniversaries, and have my blooms brighten up homes and work spaces.

I love creating and I also love teaching - meeting new people and spreading the joy of crafting is one of the reasons why I love doing what I do!

At the end of a crazy pandemic year that was 2020, during a prayer, God gave me a vision of a book cover and that motivated me to give publishing a book a shot. I found a UK publisher David & Charles, worked with them over Zoom, and did all the photography myself. More than a year later, 'Crepe Paper Blooms, Bugs and Butterflies' was officially released in major bookstores and online retailers on 10th May 2022. It's my book baby and I'm so blessed to have a book as part of my paper flower legacy.

The paper florist community has been so warm and inspirational, and I've learnt so much from the people I've met along this journey. If you're a paper flower-lover, a fellow crafter, or an aspiring artist, feel free to chat with me! I would love to get to know you, fan-girl over other master paper florists with you, and help you if I can!
